Vision

Sri Aurobindo’s and The Mother’s object of raising the consciousness of the human race is a mega project of unprecedented dimensions, which may be termed Project Consciousness. The vision of the YES project is be a tiny but unique component within the Project Consciousness, comparable to a cog in an ever-growing giant wheel, or a piece in an ever-expanding puzzle. Because of the dynamic nature and long duration of the Project Consciousness, in order to remain relevant, the YES project would need to reinvent itself continually through in-built plasticity and capacity for innovation, and keep pace with the times through adoption of technology and formats that are the preferred modes of communication and learning among the youth. While dealing with the flux and playing with forms and formats, the project will remain focussed on the goal and stay anchored in the process summed up by Sri Aurobindo’s inimitable words: “The past is our foundation, the present our material, the future our aim and summit.
